In addition to Chianti Classico, the area also produces other red and white wines, including Chianti Rufina, Chianti Colli Senesi, and Vin Santo. The region has a long and rich history, and winemaking has played a significant role in the local economy and culture for centuries. Today, the Chianti area is home to numerous wineries, ranging from small family-owned vineyards to large commercial operations, all dedicated to producing the highest quality wines.
