Orvieto is a small city located in the Umbria region of central Italy, approximately 120 kilometers north of Rome. The area surrounding Orvieto is known for its picturesque countryside and rolling hills, which are covered in vineyards and olive groves. Wine production has been a key aspect of the local economy for centuries, and the region is particularly known for producing high-quality white wines.

The primary grape used in Orvieto's white wine production is Trebbiano, which is blended with other local grape varieties such as Grechetto, Verdello, and Drupeggio. The resulting wine is typically light and crisp, with floral and fruity notes. Orvieto also produces a range of red wines, including Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The winery is about 2 km from a small town with all basic services, while the historic center of Orvieto is about 10 km away and has all services (banks, post offices, offices...). Also about 10 km from the property is the A1 highway junction from which most of the cities of Italy (from Rome to Milan) can be reached in a short time.
